Two in the afternoonQualifying for the Singapore GP

Real-time commentary will provide the latest in what is certain to be a compelling session. Consecutive victories for Verstappen have injected more intrigue to the title race. Oscar Piastri and Norris will be desperate for solid outings in Singapore. McLaren’s dominance for most of the season means they are likely to wrap up a 10th constructors championship on race day, but the Dutchman's improved form has triggered a few nerves. While Piastri still leads his teammate by 25 pts in what appears to be a two-driver battle for the driver's championship, any mistakes could let the Red Bull driver to cut further into the 69-point gap to first place.

Three in the afternoonLive: Arsenal vs West Ham & Man Utd vs Sunderland

Updates on compelling fixtures with two managers especially in focus. The unrelenting attention on Amorim's struggles at United has escalated to critical, and the match with Sunderland has all the signs of a turning point before the break for internationals. Amorim’s 50th match in charge could be his final, even though the team winning their last two home games. Following 49 games, his stats stands at: 18 wins, 12 draws, lost 19. That 36.7% win percentage is much lower with his predecessor's ten Hag's 70 percent at the equivalent point. West Ham, on the other hand, run out for their second game under Nuno, after Monday's 1-1 draw at Goodison Park. The Hammers have the curious record of having defeated Arsenal back-to-back at the Emirates Stadium. Another home defeat by their London rivals seems unlikely given the Arsenal's recent form – six victories from their last eight top-flight matches.

EPL

Half past fiveChelsea v Liverpool live

The late afternoon fixture sees the collision of teams in a poor run. Maresca's Chelsea have endured back-to-back Premier League losses, to United and Brighton, while the title holders were beaten 2-1 to Crystal Palace before slipping up in the Champions League in Turkey in midweek. Arne Slot’s team are without a win in their last four Premier League games at their home ground but have not suffered consecutive league matches since April 2023. Searching for omens? Alexander Isak, Liverpool’s new signing, has scored in his past two Premier League appearances at the Bridge, though both games ended in defeats for his then club Newcastle United. Live blog will be provided.

Horse Racing

11:45 AMPrix de l’Arc de Triomphe live

Pre-race analysis and post-race reaction from one of the racing calendar’s most prestigious races will be available. In a field of 17 for the 3.05pm feature race, the O'Brien-trained Minnie Hauk is the 3-1 favorite after being handed a favourable starting position in gate 1. O’Brien, who is seeking a third win in the race, also runs another contender, third-placed last year, but he will have to defy gate 14 to win. Another runner, who is just behind the favorite in the odds, was handed gate 12. Hopes of a first Japanese winner were hurt, with the Derby victor, one entry, and the Prix Foy victor, Byzantine Dream, drawn in stalls 17 and 15 each. Their compatriot Alohi Alii appears better placed in gate 4. André Fabre’s pair of two runners fared better with stalls three and eight each, while Francis-Henri Graffard’s three Daryz, Quisisana and Gezora.

Lap-by-lap commentary of the big race under the night lights will be offered. Obviously Verstappen has momentum – he was runner-up at his home race in the Netherlands before his victories in Monza and Azerbaijan – but probably still requires a spectacular the team's drop in form, as well as victories in the seven remaining races and three sprint races, to {clin
